Evaluations

The manner in which assistive technology evaluations and decisions are made are at the discretion of the local education agency (LEA) and, in particular, the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team for each particular student. Many LEAs have resources for providing in-house assistive technology evaluations. Listed below are additional resources LEAs and IEP teams may consider using for assistive technology evaluations. This list is not exhaustive and does not imply endorsement or preference of these organizations over others that may be available.
